Frequently Asked Questions

When should I use this script?

You should only use this script if you want to change your Encoder URL for your current domain. If you are changing your domain, we recommend running the UR Encoder Desktop Installer instead.

What exactly is this script doing?

Once the domain is selected, the script will update the URL in encoder_browser_sample/FaceTec-Browser-UR-Code-Encoder-Sample-App/src/Utilities/UREncoderConfig.ts that will be embedded into Your UR Codes. You can also modify this value yourself if you would prefer to manually edit this file by navigating to Your UR Encoder Folder.
